Some towers will have a metal plate or stamp near the bottom of the tower that contains either the manufacturer information or the model number. Alternatively, it may contain the job number, which the manufacturer can then use to find the original plans. On guy towers, generally it is near the pivot at the bottom of the guy tower or on the legs. On the monopole, it might be stamped into the pole. On a lattice tower, near the bottom where the legs are bolted to the foundation.
The older the tower, the more problematic it might be to identify it. If you can send in a photo to us, we can post it on LinkedIn, and someone might be able to identify it. Send it to leads@ this website domain address.
