AT&T Property Taxes
I have an ATT tower on my land with a new Lease re-negotiated in 2015. Steel in the Air provided consulting services and referred me to a Cell Tower Attorney for the negotiations.
I was contacted this week by ATT by certified mail. ATT Tower Asset Group has a new legal notice address. I was provided with three addresses: one for Cell-Site Lease Requests, one for PropertyTax requests, and a third for copies of each to be sent to ATT Legal Dept.
At bottom of page are a section stating "Important Details" First bulleted statement is:
For property tax invoices, please notify your Taxing Authority of AT&T's new legal notice address above. This will avoid possible tax liens or risk of property loss.
Next bulleted statement gives an e-mail address if I want more information, and last says keep this page with Lease.
If my local Assessor's Office sents invoices directly to ATT, why are they trying to make me responsible for notice of move?
I know this is simple to do, but after nearly three years of contentious Lease negotiations, a last minute ATT attempt to force multiple changes, and a plethora of attempts by MD7 to force me to lower rents, I have become suspicious of everything ATT does.
