What's the difference between a "colocation" and "amendment" lease for a macro site? I'd understood that a new carrier placing equipment on a tower is a "colocation" whereas an existing carrier tenant placing additional equipment on an existing site is an "amendment", but now I'm not sure it's so simple. Does an initial colocation lease reserve a RAD center (i.e. specific height interval) on the tower, with an additional amendment triggered whenever equipment is placed within that same area? By the same token, if a carrier needed more vertical space than initially reserved would that trigger a new colocation?
